The Inaugural Terrilee Ransom Memorial Employee Golf Day

For many associates at the Akwesasne Mohawk Casino Resort, the Annual Employee Golf Day is a highly anticipated tradition. It is a dedicated day to step away from daily routines, enjoy the game of golf, and build lasting camaraderie with colleagues. This year, however, the gathering held a much deeper meaning for everyone involved.

A Legacy of Leadership and Fun

In June, our casino family suffered a profound loss with the passing of longtime Security Director Terrilee Ransom. Known throughout the resort for her exceptional leadership and kind heart, Terrilee was a driving force behind our community spirit.
She was heavily involved with the Associate Activities Committee, where she constantly challenged the team to think bigger and better. Terrilee passionately believed that every single event should be fully inclusive to all associates. Above all, she always pushed to maximize the “FUN” factor in everything we did. With the warm approval of her family, the tournament has been officially renamed to the Annual Terrilee Ransom Memorial Employee Golf Day.

A Beautiful Day on the Course

In true fashion to Terrilee’s vibrant attitude, the day was filled with laughter, smiles, and unforgettable moments. Golfers enjoyed perfect weather and a beautiful day on the greens at The River Course at Louisville Landing. The day even brought some extra magic to the course—a spectacular hole-in-one was made! It was the perfect highlight for a day centered around celebration and joy. The event was a true team effort, made special by the incredible support of our community and partners:
