CARIBBEAN STUD POKER

Based on the popular game Five Card Stud, Caribbean Stud Poker was the first game to include a progressive jackpot bet. The optional $1 bet gives players a chance to win thousands, even if their hand doesn’t beat the dealer’s, or if the dealer doesn’t qualify! If more than one player qualifies for a jackpot during the same hand, the winners will share the jackpot as an aggregate.

Play begins with an “Ante” bet. Each player then receives five cards face down. The dealer receives four cards face down and a fifth face up.

If you think your hand will beat the dealer’s hand, then place a bet behind the “Ante” that is exactly twice the original “Ante” bet. You also have the option to fold if you feel your hand is not strong enough to beat the dealer’s.

In order for the dealer to play, his or her hand must have an Ace/ King or higher to qualify (continue). If the dealer cannot “open” with an Ace/ King, the hand is over. The dealer then collects the cards and pays the “Ante” bet to players who did not fold.

If the dealer’s hand qualifies (high enough to open), and the player’s hand is higher than the dealer’s hand, the player may qualify for one of the following bonuses:

Two Pair.............................1 to 1 odds

Three-of-a-Kind................3 to 1 odds

Straight..............................4 to 1 odds

Flush..................................5 to 1 odds

Full House.........................7 to 1 odds

Four-of-a-Kind...............20 to 1 odds

Straight Flush.................50 to 1 odds

Royal Flush..................100 to 1 odds

Bonus Payout Schedule is paid up to table maximum payout. These payoffs are normal table payoffs and are in addition to the progressive payoff.
